This Privacy Policy describes how MindFlux Studios collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use Sudoku Infinity, our mobile game for Android. Please read it carefully so you understand what data we handle and why. By using Sudoku Infinity, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Signing in is optional. The entire game is playable without an account. When you choose to sign in with Google Play Games, we authenticate you through Firebase Authentication and create an account for you. When you do so, we collect and store:
Signing in enables cloud save, syncing across devices, global leaderboards, and achievements. We do not receive your Google password, and by default we do not receive your email address through Play Games sign-in.
When you are signed in, your game data is synced to and stored in Google Cloud Firestore so that it is preserved across devices and reinstalls. This includes:
When you are not signed in, this progress and statistics are stored only on your device, with the exception of the anonymous energy balance described in the next section.
Sudoku Infinity uses an energy system to manage gameplay. To keep your energy balance consistent across sessions, an anonymous identifier is generated randomly on your device and stored in our database, and your energy balance is synced to it. This identifier is a random value that contains no personally identifiable information and is not linked to your name, your account, or any other personal data. This is the one piece of gameplay data that is stored in our database even when you are not signed in.
If you are signed in, you can appear on global leaderboards. Your display name and score are visible to other players on the leaderboard. Achievements you unlock are recorded through Google Play Games Services. You can manage your leaderboard and achievement visibility through your Google Play Games account settings.
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the Application is used and to improve it. This automatically collects usage data such as your device model, operating system version, app version, app instance identifiers, and how you interact with the Application, including which features you use and session information.
We use Firebase Crashlytics to automatically collect crash reports and diagnostic data when the Application encounters an error. This includes the crash stack trace, the state of the app at the time, your device model, operating system version, app version, and the active theme. This information is used solely to identify and fix bugs, and crash collection is active only in production builds.
If you grant notification permission, Firebase Cloud Messaging registers your device with a push notification token. We use this to deliver reminders, announcements, and updates. You can disable notifications at any time from within the Application settings or your device settings.
We use Google AdMob to display rewarded advertisements, which help keep the Application available at no cost. To serve and measure ads, AdMob collects and shares with Google your device advertising identifier, device information, and ad interaction data such as impressions and clicks. Where required in your region, we ask for your consent through Google's consent form, and you can reset or opt out of personalised advertising through your device settings.
The Application includes a voluntary feedback and bug reporting system. When you submit feedback, a bug report, or a feature request, we collect the description you write, the category, the app version, and the active theme, and store it in Cloud Firestore. You may optionally provide your name and email address so we can follow up with you. Providing this contact information is entirely optional, and if you do not provide it your submission is anonymous. We use this information only to review and respond to your submission, and we never sell or share it for any other purpose.
Your app preferences, such as your sound and vibration settings, are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to us or any third party. When you are not signed in, your game progress and statistics also stay on your device, apart from the anonymous energy balance described above.
We do not sell your data. We use the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data:
For more information about how Google handles data, please see Google's Privacy Policy. We may also disclose data if required to do so by law or a valid request from a public authority, and, if the Application or its data is ever sold or transferred to another party, your data may be transferred as part of that arrangement, in which case we will notify you.
We retain your account and synced game data for as long as your account exists. Crash and diagnostic data is retained for a limited period necessary to diagnose and resolve issues. Feedback and bug reports are retained for as long as they remain relevant to improving the Application. You can request deletion at any time, as described below.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
Visit our account deletion page, or email us at contact@mindfluxstudios.com with the subject Delete My Account and your Player ID.
We will permanently delete your account and its associated data within 90 days, and you will receive a confirmation email once it is complete. Anonymous data that is not linked to your identity, such as aggregated analytics and crash logs, may be retained for a limited period.
Your data is processed by Google's Firebase and AdMob infrastructure, which operates globally. By using the Application, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data on servers that may be located outside your country. Google maintains appropriate security and data protection standards for all transferred data.
All data transmitted by the Application is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS, and Firebase App Check helps ensure that only the genuine app can access our backend. We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Sudoku Infinity is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the Application, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it promptly.
The Application may contain links to third-party websites. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content or privacy practices of any third-party site, and we encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the date at the top. You are advised to review this page periodically. Changes are effective when posted.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, or would like to request deletion of your data, you can contact us by email at contact@mindfluxstudios.com.
